Lecture post: Cryptography

My entrepreneurial idea was to create an importing business of international products that create a relationship between the manufacturers of a country to a local non-profit organization unique to that country. That way the developed countries can help the developing countries build their business to benefit a larger whole, economically.

As discussed previously, most of the transactions and business collaboration of this entrepreneurial idea will be accomplished over the internet through cloud computing and specialized software. It will be crucial to the company that we incorporate cryptography into our computing infrastructure. It should be the first step to building our information database and putting it on the cloud. From the very start we need to make sure that account access is limited, that access requires careful security measures for employees, and that it builds a trustworthy technological foundation for all of us.

Cryptography will help the company create secured accounts that are specific to every individual involved with the company. It will include passwords, information access permissions, occasional security checks to ensure validity of user. Since it will be a very broad company involving people from all over the world, we have to take extra security measures which will take into account the fact that employees could be attempting to work on the cloud account from any location. It has to be permissible of that, but very strict at the same time.

Cryptography will also come into play in the interactions with our clients. As monetary and product exchange will be made over the internet, we have to ensure our clients that their information is completely secured and that they will receive the products exactly as they chose them. Cryptography will create the safe pathway for our company to receive our clients' payments without any suspicious interruptions. In order to run thousands of transactions per day, smoothly, we have to take the precautionary step of cryptography at the very beginning and then perfect it as we go but it is definitely a must-do to run a successful business over the web of a thousand connections from all around the world.
