My entrepreneurial idea was to create an importing business of international products that create a relationship between the manufacturers of a country to a local non-profit organization unique to that country. That way the developed countries can help the developing countries build their business to benefit a larger whole, economically.
Databases will be of frequent use in order to successfully manage this business. All manufactured products, sales, locations, prices, clients will be recorded in databases. As the business grows, we will have a vast amount of information that needs to be accessible to employees with one click, or to operations managers or to business analysts, so that the progression is easily observable. This will not only help us stay organized but it will make every process of our business run smoothly. A business which primarily run over the internet, or broad communication spheres, a place where all the business information is accessible is crucial.
Databases can help us answer questions and be valid in our case points since we will have written records of every transaction. Within a database there will be other folders which will help us separate information so that we can view what we need to view and not confuse every data piece altogether. After doing the Access lab, I realized that from the database we can create quick imagery of a report that we would like with specific constraints. Often times we want to see a certain kind of progression in only a certain sector of the business, such as only products that are made with fabric. Through the databases of our business we can quickly create a report for all products made of fabric and not go through every single product individually.
In matters of constant product manufacturing and sales, which happens with online stores rather than physical stores, we won't have a control of when the store is open, when consumers are active around the world or when a product goes out of stock. Therefore, a database will help us stay calm in the midst of this very active business. There might be errors but at least we will have an account for every action being taken in the business. There are also security measures that can taken with databases which can control user access and that is very important because then we can divide each sector of the business with access to only certain information; not to hide something, but to keep everything straight and give specific management roles to employee teams.

Final Post
My entrepreneurial idea was to create an importing business of international products that create a relationship between the manufacturers of a country to a local non-profit organization unique to that country. That way the developed countries can help the developing countries build their business to benefit a larger whole, economically.
When first thinking of an entrepreneurial idea, I didn't take into account any technology. My idea evolved around a vision for a business that I would like to see. As we progressed through this project, starting from the meeting with our TA, I started to incorporate what we learned about all the areas of technology usage today. Starting from hardware to social media, I realized that no matter what the business, it could highly benefit from using technology. It can grow faster since technology barely presents any geographical barriers for diffusion.
My business has become very modern with the idea that it is meant to benefit people from the third world or developing countries who are mostly living in backward societies. This business will not only be giving opportunities to those people to expose their manufacturing potentials to a bigger client group but it is also bringing technology, education, jobs and ideas to those societies. Since now I can use several aspects of technology such as cryptography, cloud computing, social media, etc., there is the courage for the business to spread more confidently around the world. This business and many new businesses can get a really strong start thanks to technology.
In order to bring this entrepreneurial idea to life, I would have carefully select the product manufacturers and the non-profit organizations. Then form a business deal between them and me, along with legal papers. I would have to set up centers in the various countries where there will be a team of employees who will be taking into account all manufacturing data, monetary transactions going in and out from that country. Then I would advertise what we have set up so far. I would use social media, and local news sources to disperse the information about the non-profit organizations that we are building this business for and the unique culture based products that are being manufactured in a foreign country, that is easily accessible to anyone who would like to buy them.
Developing a very organized, detailed and aesthetic website is crucial to this business because it will sort of be the face of the company. Since this business will have a vast group of members, no one can personally advocate for legitimacy, quality, etc. Thus the website will be the main salesperson who will have to attract customers and campaign for the business. As the word of this company spreads, there might be other business in foreign countries who would like to join the partnership, or a government of a country might reach out to us in order to somewhat benefit their economy or their worldwide representation, through our company. So in order to keep all these business interactions in order, we need the software and hardware that will primarily do the job for us. A well developed database of gathered information to secure accuracy, is also necessary. Soon we will have to take bigger security measures since we will be involving various organizations and continuous monetary transactions will be going on. The basic positions in a business is definitely required for this company, but we will also need technology proficient team members who will be willing to learn new ways and also be able to teach other employees so that we can always adapt to newer technologies in order to improve our business, keep it safe and be financially successful and at the end, actually make a significant impact on the countries that we are working with.

Lecture post: Cryptography
My entrepreneurial idea was to create an importing business of international products that create a relationship between the manufacturers of a country to a local non-profit organization unique to that country. That way the developed countries can help the developing countries build their business to benefit a larger whole, economically.
As discussed previously, most of the transactions and business collaboration of this entrepreneurial idea will be accomplished over the internet through cloud computing and specialized software. It will be crucial to the company that we incorporate cryptography into our computing infrastructure. It should be the first step to building our information database and putting it on the cloud. From the very start we need to make sure that account access is limited, that access requires careful security measures for employees, and that it builds a trustworthy technological foundation for all of us.
Cryptography will help the company create secured accounts that are specific to every individual involved with the company. It will include passwords, information access permissions, occasional security checks to ensure validity of user. Since it will be a very broad company involving people from all over the world, we have to take extra security measures which will take into account the fact that employees could be attempting to work on the cloud account from any location. It has to be permissible of that, but very strict at the same time.
Cryptography will also come into play in the interactions with our clients. As monetary and product exchange will be made over the internet, we have to ensure our clients that their information is completely secured and that they will receive the products exactly as they chose them. Cryptography will create the safe pathway for our company to receive our clients' payments without any suspicious interruptions. In order to run thousands of transactions per day, smoothly, we have to take the precautionary step of cryptography at the very beginning and then perfect it as we go but it is definitely a must-do to run a successful business over the web of a thousand connections from all around the world.

Lecture Post: Networks
My
entrepreneurial idea was to create an importing business of
international products that create a relationship between the
manufacturers of a country to a local non-profit organization unique to
that country. That way the developed countries can help the developing
countries build their business to benefit a larger whole, economically.
Networking accuracy and fluent connectivity is very crucial to running an international businesses. All our transactions, exchanges of ideas and employee collaboration will depend on how well we are able to connect to the network of the stations in each country that they business is situated in. In order run the business without any interruptions, we will need to have constant access to our servers which might contain client information or product information.
This idea will be mostly based on the internet, thus it is important that our clients can access our large collection of products through our website. If our networks cannot connect, we can't update our website and online collection and our clients won't be able to view our collection when they are updated. To create a website we will need a domain name which will be stored in the Domain Name System. In case something goes wrong our IP address, we will need to be able to access the DNS server to retrieve our address.
The working foundation of this business will be the network. We will have a vast collection of computers connected to this network in order for us to stay connected. We have to constantly exchange information and data, thus it is important that our network is highly secured. In the midst of so many computers connected to one network, there could be a device connected, that isn't supposed to be. All the accounts and plans are put on the cloud by sharing them via a network. This makes it easy for businesses to run without employees and clients ever having to meet each other and it saves time.
